Competing as part of The Saudi Physics Team, Misk Schools students Faris G and Hussain S performed strongly at the 22nd Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad (NBPhO) held in Estonia this week. Both students represented Misk Schools and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the highest degree, earning a silver medal for their exceptional performance.

They were among 105 young physicists representing 10 countries that included Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia, as well as guest countries Brazil, Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Lithuania and Vietnam.

The Kingdom's participation in the Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad is part of the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program, a collaboration between the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education.
