Students have been recognised at the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, with two securing global Grand Prizes alongside multiple medal awards.

Aljawhara Q was awarded the Grand Prize for General Education at the global level, as well as the Grand Prize in the 15–18 category. She also received a gold medal with distinction for her project on AI-driven predictive modelling and therapeutic optimisation for respiratory diseases. The work focused on improving treatment pathways through data-led forecasting and personalised intervention.

Sary Q received the Grand Prize in the 12–15 category, alongside a gold medal, for SSQ Rover – an autonomous system designed to detect ice on Mars, extract water, and generate oxygen and hydrogen. The project combined elements of robotics, planetary science and resource engineering.

Three further students were recognised with silver medals: Maya J, Maryam K and Tamem S, each presenting projects across scientific and engineering disciplines.

The Geneva exhibition invites innovators and researchers from around the world, with entries assessed on technical rigour, originality and practical application. Recognition at this level places students among a small group whose work demonstrates both scientific depth and broader relevance.

These results reflect a growing emphasis on applied research and problem-solving, with projects addressing important real-world challenges.
