Grade 3 students from Misk Schools visited At-Turaif, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of the first Saudi state, as part of the school's focus on experiential learning.

The field trip allowed students to engage directly with the site's Najdi and Islamic architectural styles, providing practical context for classroom learning about Saudi heritage and history.

Experiential learning outside the classroom forms a core component of Misk Schools' educational approach. These experiences are designed to develop independent thinking, extend practical skills, and broaden students' understanding beyond traditional instruction methods. Direct engagement with historical and cultural sites supports the development of cultural literacy while encouraging students to make meaningful connections between academic content and real-world contexts.

The visit to At-Turaif, a 15th-century district in Diriyah, gave students first-hand exposure to the architectural and historical significance of the site, complementing their studies of Saudi national identity and cultural traditions.
