His Excellency Stephen Hitchen, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visited Misk Schools in Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City, where he was hosted by Director General Dr Steffen Sommer and joined by Dr Badr Al Badr, CEO of the Misk Foundation and a Misk Schools Board Member.

During his visit, His Excellency toured the campus and met students from the Boys’ Schools, including during lessons. He also spent time with Misk Schools’ Model United Nations students, discussing the importance of diplomacy, communication and cross-cultural understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.

“Visits such as this give our students an opportunity to engage directly with leaders working at the highest levels of international affairs,” said Dr Steffen Sommer, Director General of Misk Schools. “These conversations help students understand that diplomacy is not simply about representing a position – it is about listening, understanding different perspectives and finding ways to work together. Those are capabilities we place great value on at Misk Schools.”
